Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two 16-Year-Olds from Thibodaux
Thibodaux, Louisiana – In a devastating incident, two 16-year-olds lost their lives after their car crashed into a culvert just off LA 1.
According to Louisiana State Police, the driver, identified as Tristan Hartman, was unable to maintain control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The car veered off the road, colliding with a culvert. Despite emergency responders’ efforts, both Tristan and his passenger, Ashton Newkirk, succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Another passenger, a 14-year-old, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to an undisclosed medical facility for further treatment.
