Western Digital, or its enterprise arm HGST to be exact, has today announced that it will be acquiring all-flash array provider Skyera. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, but it's an all-cash acquisition and Skyera will be fully integrated into HGST once the acquisition completes.
For me personally Skyera has been one of the most interesting flash array companies given its deep expertise of NAND and very high density solutions.

Born in New York City in 1926, Champlin served in World War II, earning the Purple Heart for his service there, before returning and graduating from Harvard University. Shortly thereafter, he earned his first print job at LIFE Magazine, working for Time Magazine as well. It was in 1965 that Champlin would get the job for which he will be best remembered, as columnist and entertainment editor at the LA Times.
